About

What I Believe

The foundation isn't a philosophy. It's a Person — and everything flows from there.

Your work is not separate from your calling. It was always meant to be the same thing.

I didn't arrive at this conviction through a curriculum or a conference. I lived my way into it — through decades of coaching, leading, selling, and serving alongside people in the marketplace who were hungry for more than their work was giving them. What I found, again and again, was that the problem was never the business. It was that no one had ever told them their business could be a ministry. That their leadership could be a form of shepherding. That the Kingdom was never meant to stop at the church door.

I believe the marketplace is one of the largest mission fields in the world. Every transaction, every team meeting, every hire is an opportunity to reflect Christ. The question isn't whether your organization is forming the people in it — it's what it's forming them into.

PurposeBound Strategies exists to help business leaders see their work as both mission and ministry — cultivating spiritual formation, soul care, and moral clarity within the everyday rhythms of professional life. Not as a program or an initiative, but as a posture, a culture, and a way of life.

The world measures organizations by output and revenue. God measures them by what they form in the people who build them. My work is to help those people and the leaders who shepherd them, stay anchored to that higher standard. This isn't a consulting model. It's a calling and if you've read this far, there's a good chance you already sense that your organization was made for something more. I'd be honored to walk alongside you in figuring out what that looks like.

How This Shapes My Work

Everything in your organization is forming someone.

The only question is whether you're being intentional about it.

A team is a culture. Culture forms people. People serve customers. Every coaching conversation, every performance review, every hire is a moment of formation. Most leaders never stop to ask what those moments are producing, not just in numbers, but in the people themselves. That's where this work begins.

The culture you build shapes the character of everyone in it. It sets the tone for how people treat one another, how they handle pressure, how they show up when no one is watching. My role isn't to manage your people for you, it's to walk alongside you as a trusted pastoral and shepherding presence, helping you lead from a place of spiritual clarity and Kingdom conviction. Because leaders who are spiritually grounded lead differently. They shepherd rather than drive. They develop rather than just deploy.

Through PurposeBound Strategies, I equip and empower leaders to steward their organizations as mission fields, building teams anchored in faith, excellence, integrity, and purpose. Not because faith is good for business, but because faithful work is inherently excellent work. When people know they are seen, valued, and led with integrity, they don't just perform better, they become better. That's the kind of impact that outlasts any quarter.

This isn't a framework you implement and forget. It's a way of leading that gets woven into who you are and who your organization becomes. It takes time. It takes intentionality. It takes someone willing to do the deeper work beneath the surface of strategy and systems. That kind of transformation takes a guide. That's what I'm here for.

"A business is a discipleship environment. The question isn't whether you're forming your team — it's what you're forming them into."

Tory Bryant

Every role. One conviction. The workplace is a mission field — and the people in your care deserve a leader who knows it.

Tory Bryant is the Founder and Owner of PurposeBound Strategies, a marketplace ministry committed to bringing the Kingdom into the marketplace. For over 25 years, Tory has served at the intersection of faith, leadership, and professional excellence. His experience spans corporate sales leadership, collegiate and high school basketball coaching, academic instruction, ministry, and missions.

Tory serves organizations as a coach, steward, and shepherding presence — walking alongside ownership, leadership, and teams to nurture spiritual health and anchor workplace culture in faith, excellence, integrity, and purpose. His conviction is simple: the marketplace is one of the largest mission fields in the world, and every organization has the opportunity to become a platform for Kingdom impact.

Sales & Business Leadership

Over 12 years as Sales Coach, Special Markets Coordinator, Sales Manager, and Ministry & Missions Lead, Tory led a team of 25+ branding consultants, driving $20–25M in annual revenue. Under his leadership, six consultants crossed the million-dollar revenue mark in back-to-back years (2024 & 2025). The culture they built together earned national recognition — the 2024 Facilis Cares Award for excellence in corporate culture and service.

Coaching & Education

A decorated coach and educator, Tory served as Head Women's Basketball Coach at Wayland Baptist University (2007–2013) and Head Girls Basketball Coach at Trinity Christian High School in Lubbock, TX (2004–2007), managing all aspects of each program. He also served as an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at the University of Texas at Arlington (2001–2004) and taught 7th Grade Life Science alongside his coaching responsibilities.

Tory holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science from Texas Tech University and a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from West Texas A&M University, with emphasis in Sports & Exercise Science, Educational Administration, and Professional Development.

PurposeBound Strategies is the culmination of that 25-year journey walking alongside, serving, and leading. He's been in the locker room, the 6am coaches meeting, and on the court. He's been in the sales bullpen, the boardroom, and on the mission field — and brings the same coaching, stewarding, and shepherding heart to every engagement. He knows what it costs to lead, and what it means to lead well.

Ministry & Community

Tory is deeply invested in community and Kingdom work. Underneath every role has been a single conviction: people aren't just resources to be managed — they are souls to be stewarded and shepherded. At Brandability, Tory didn't just lead the sales team. He led the corporate ministry team, helped facilitate men's and women's quarterly Bible studies, helped establish corporate prayer and ministry, and led two international and two domestic mission trips that focused on street evangelism, prayer, ministry, community outreach, and water system projects in Honduras and San Antonio, TX. Locally, he is a member at Mid-Cities Community Church (Neely Campus), serves as the Discipleship Director, on the Prayer and Ministry Team, Men's Ministry Team, Free Indeed Ministry, and as a co-leader of the Next Steps Class.

He is a current member of the Permian Basin Basketball Officials Organization and the Texas High School Officials Basketball Association. In prior years he served as Chair and Board Member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (Permian Basin), Co-Chair of the Odessa Chamber of Commerce Junior Leadership, and as a High School Board Member & Large School Rankings Coordinator with the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches.
